2000 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom. Bought in 2002 with 4800 miles on it, I have been the only rider since then. Never dropped and always garaged. Brand new front tire, front brake rotor and battery. Vance and Hines Straightshots exhaust, S&S air cleaner, looks and sounds great. Rare "Dragonfly Green" custom paint from the factory. (I have been to dozens of bike rallys and have only seen this paint scheme on one other bike.) Drag bars with riser. Many extras. Buyer will receive all original parts with bike including mirrors, exhaust, turn signals, air cleaner, pegs and grips. Also will include leather Saddlemen throw over bags and passenger backrest not shown in pictures. Great starter bike, fun to ride. Only selling because I purchased a Road King and hate to see this Sporty just sitting in the garage. Would like to see it go to someone who will appreciate it as much as I have. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
