1995 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 , YEP, she 'began' as a Sporty-12 but surpassed that awhile ago. She's an awesome and really fun scoot, cuz she's lowered and I put forward controls on her. She recently turned over 25k, original miles and at one point, a road and show-bike, multiple Trophy winner too. She's in great mechanical shape, very sound!! Wed, 27 Jul 2011Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
