Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Originally an 883 but converted to 1200 using Buell cylinders, wiseco pistons, Buell thunderstorm heads, Andrews N8 cam and Mikuni 42 carb.  The bike has forward controls, solid rear wheel, new battery and belt.  It is a blast to drive. Have not had it dyno'd but it screams. I used scotchbrite pads to knockdown the shine on the chrome to give it a satin finish. I've had it since 1999 and has never let me down. People with bigger bikes tell me it's their favorite Sporty

Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750

Thu, 29 Jan 2015

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
