Up for sale is a 1990 Harley Davidson sportster 883 belt drive donor bike with NO TITLE.. RUNS AND DRIVES..SHIFTS GREAT..Has new battery.plugs.oil..carbs cleaned. I bought the bike to rebuild over upcoming winter but unfortunately need some cash. bike has a bunch of custom parts..tank (no rust), front suspension, headlight, handlebars..the original speedometer was replaced at some point so not exactly sure what mileage actually is. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q4 2011 Results
Tue, 24 Jan 2012Harley-Davidson reported a 10.9% growth in motorcycle sales in the fourth quarter and a total annual growth of 5.9% for 2011. The growth resulted in a net profit of $599.1 million for Harley-Davidson. The Motor Company sold 235,188 motorcycles in 2011, up from 222,110 units sold in 2010.
