1980 Harley Davidson Sportster XLS or Roadster model. This model came with cast aluminum wheels, drag handle bars and a smaller gas tank. Never restored or re-painted the bike has 23,000 original miles from only two owners.Drag pipes and a different air cleaner are the only things not stock equipment on this vintage ride. This bike starts up and when it does that old Ironhead really sounds off and rides good too, The brakes recently gone over, along with the fork tubes and the battery is not that old. This is a nice piece for the short tripper that wants a great sounding nostalgic Harley. Thanks for looking and will be happy to answer any questions. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.

Miller has appeared in a number of promotional spots for The Motor Company in recent years, most notably for the Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle and to support Harley-Davidson’s U.S. Military Appreciation programs (one of Miller’s “American Bombshell” post cards is currently my computer’s desktop wallpaper).
