HERES A 1974 IRONHEAD HARLEY DAVIDSON XLH 1000 SPORTSTER NEW CARB WITH NICE INVADER WHEELS, THE BIKE RAN FINE, THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE IS THE TRANS SCREWED UP, PUT A NEW TRANS IN WITH NEW GEARS AND IT DID IT AGAIN, I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING AND IM TIRED OF MESSING WITH IT, ITS YOURS TO RESTORE, YOU GET ALL PARTS INCLUDING THE NEW SET OF GEARS I PUT IN IT, THE TRANS IS OUT, ONE OF THE EXAUST PIPES IS OFF, THE COVER IS PUT BACK ON WITH A COUPLE SCREWS, I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE THAT MATCHES ENGINE

FENDERS ARE GOOD, APE HANGERS DECENT, FEW NEW PARTS LIKE THE CARB CABLE ETC.

Bryan Smith edged out Kenny Coolbeth Jr. by a mere 0.041 seconds to win the AMA Pro Flat Track Experts Twins race at the Springfield Mile. The ten laps of the race saw Smith and his Kawasaki battling for the lead with Coolbeth and Jake Johnson and Jared Mees sitting close behind waiting for an opening.

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
