Harley-Davidson Softail description

2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe, FLSTN - Softail Deluxe - Pure nostalgic beauty wrapped around completely modern power and performance. The 2014 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLSTN model is a hardtail motorcycle cruiser with authentic Harley style. The Softail Deluxe comes with optional Hard Candy Custom paint, a large metal flake paint finish that recalls the iconic styling of '70s custom bikes, and offers blazing color showing through a deep, finish. The Harley fenders on the Softail Deluxe model are true retro style with their long lines and chrome Harley fender tips. And each fender says Deluxe so everyone will know how you roll. The Harley Softail Deluxe model has a wide front end fork and gorgeous 7-inch ball motorcycle headlamp. Whitewall tires give this motorcycle cruiser a 1950s boulevard retro motorcycle look. The H-D Softail Deluxe model features a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. Hit the road in style with this classic two-up FLSTN Softail Deluxe model’s seat. At a lowdown 24.5 inches, it's among the lowest seat heights you'll find. And we've added some ergonomics to make riding solo or duo even easier, especially for riders with a shorter inseam. 'Collapsing' sides create a narrow seat profile, and the passenger seat pillion is detachable. Learn more about all of the features of the Harley Softail Deluxe model. Also take a minute to check each of the other Softail Motorcycle features. And take a look at the Fat Boy Lo model and also learn about the Softail FLSTF model, for other custom Harley motorbikes.

What It's Like To Ride A Harley Superbike Credit: Photos by Brian J. Nelson and Kevin Wing Kyle Wyman knows a thing or two about superbikes. Having ridden quite a few over the years as a MotoAmerica rider, and having built some himself as a MotoAmerica team owner – including the Ducati Panigale V4R he campaigned most recently – the 2021 MotoAmerica King of the Baggers champion didn’t mince his words when describing the synergy between himself, Harley-Davidson, and the Road Glide he took all the way to the title.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.
