Harley-Davidson Softail description

This auction is for a nice Black Denim Harley Fat Boy Lo with extras, and only 7754 miles on the odometer!  The bike has a 96 c.i. V-Twin engine mated to a 6 speed transmission, which is a great combination whether you are cruising in town or out on the highway.  As far as extras go, it has some black Vance&Hines pipes that make it sound like a Harley should.  Factory handlebars have been replaced with some really cool Chubby drag bars that look great on this bike, with smoked lenses on brake light and turn signals.  A detachable backrest is out back for passenger comfort, or can be removed in about 5 seconds if not needed.  Harley slotted inspection and timing covers accentuate the engine, with flamed shifter peg and rear brake pad rounding out the controls.  There is also a Harley leather tool bag attached to the front forks.  Bike has Harley security with 2 fobs.

Mechanically, the bike functions flawlessly, with everything working as designed.  No issues at all.
Cosmetically, this bike is very nice other than 2 minor flaws.  One flaw is on right side floorboard, the black paint is starting to peel off of the bottom.  Very minor, and a easy fix.  The other flaw is on the air cleaner...the paint is a little discolored in a few places.  Not sure what caused it, but if you look closely at the pic of the air cleaner you can see it.  Not real noticeable unless you are looking for it, but it is there.  It might buff out, but I haven't tried.  Other than those 2 things, this bike is just like it should be.  Tires are good with plenty of tread.  Sheetmetal is straight and nice, paint is nice, etc.  No wear anywhere, and no issues of any kind other than the 2 minor flaws mentioned previously.  Look at my feedback and bid with confidence, I tell it the way it is.  If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call at 940-393-9750.

Clear Texas title in hand.  I live about 45 minutes from Dfw airport, I will be glad to pick you up if you want to fly in and ride home.  Otherwise, buyer is responsible freight, but I will help in any possible way.  I will accept cash, cashier's checks, or bank wire for payment.  Bike is sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.  Texas residents only with be responsible for State tax, title, and licensing fees.

So if you are looking for a great bike with no issues that is priced right, here you go!  Happy Bidding!

A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750

Thu, 29 Jan 2015

This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.

A (Not So) Silent Night from Harley-Davidson – Video

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.
