This FXCW has several thousand dollars of custom parts including fenders, wheels, pulley, brake disks, air intake cover (all matching), exhaust pipes, mirrors, grips, pedals, and more. Additional mods include: raising the front of the tank a couple of inches, relocation of the tail lights, removal of the front blinkers (may not be legal in some states) and a few others, adding to the overall design of the bike.Note: there are two seats, the stock seat, and a custom Danny Gray seat with sharkskin inlay, but unfortunately, the inlay is sun-damaged and needs to be replaced (estimated price: $450 for an equal custom seat or $250 for something a little cheaper).See photos for more description... Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Thu, 25 Jul 2013Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.
