Harley-Davidson Softail description

2009 Harley-Davidson FXSTC, softtail custom, 1650 total miles,

Factory/Dealer installed options include:
-HD dealer installed quick detachable windshield with required turn signal relocation kit,
-optional two tone blue pearl metallic and silver pearl metallic paint with pinstripes,
-optional HD factory alarm system,
-optional HD engine/leg guards.

Has the fat factory rear tire.  This motorcycle is a ONE OWNER SINCE NEW (APRIL 2010), ADULT RIDDEN BY THE OWNER ONLY, GARAGE KEPT, NEVER SEEN RAIN OR TRAFFIC, NEVER WRECKED OR DROPPED-NO DAMAGE HISTORY,  As Showroom New  (except for a near invisible minor scratch on right rear turn signal chrome housing and a very tiny 1/4" tear on the upper right rear side of sissy bar seat back (picture 6) from rubbing up against right side of an enclosed moving van trailer).  This is an opportunity to buy a basically brand new $19K+ Harley-Davidson Softtail Custom, with several costly factory and dealer installed options at a huge discount.  Multiple oil changes and the dealer 1,000 mile service have been performed.  2 electronic security keys and factory manual/docs included.  The asking price of this H-D is very fair with the listed options, extremely low mileage, history, and carefully maintained and protected condition of this bike.... check NADA motorcycle price guide.

TEST RIDES:  No test rides without full deposit, copy of drivers license, and only by a motorcycle licensed, experienced, and insured riders.  I will test ride for all others while they watch, or I will do a test ride video for remote buyers if desired.  Rides and looks brand new.  Everything works perfectly.

LOCAL BUYERS:  Sale transaction will take place at a local Florida DMV office for local buyers and buyer will receive Bill of Sale, signed clear Title, & the bike, after cash or cashiers/certified check  is verified by issuing bank.  Local DMV offices have video cameras & armed Sheriff's Deputies on site.
REMOTE BUYERS:  Bike will not be shipped to remote buyers paying by check until check fully clears bank, approximately 10 to 14 days, due to widespread bank check fraud.  Upon payment by check, buyer will immediately receive a Bill of Sale marked "contingent upon verification & receipt of good & valid funds."

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
