Harley-Davidson Softail description

I am the original owner and I bought this bike in October of 2009.  It has very low original miles(1246).  It has never been down and I have kept it garaged since new.  It has never been left out in the elements.  At the time of purchase I had installed a new set of bologna cut mufflers(louder than stock), passenger foot boards(no pegs), windshield bag, passenger grab rails, luggage rack, and battery tender(maintains battery and makes it last a lot longer).  I am including two helments with driver/passenger wireless intercom and a bike cover.  If you want a georgous bike at a great price, then this is definitely the one for you.  You are welcome to inspect the bike before buying by calling 1-318-965-4188 and making an appointment to do so.

Payment:  $1000 deposit within 48 hours of purchase, remainder due at pickup.  Note:  I will only accept payment by cash or paypal only.

Harley-Davidson has opened a new regional headquarters for the Asian market in Singapore. The new facility will house Harley-Davidson‘s sales, marketing and dealer development operations for its Asia Pacific region. The region office was previously located at Harley-Davidson’s global base in Milwaukee.

H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
