Has thousands in upgrades, including a Stage 1 kit with Vance & Hines Double Barrel pipes, K&N air filter and Thundermax ECM. The Thundermax is amazing and very powerful. It learns and re-programs air, fuel & ignition as you ride. So any future upgrades such as cams or changing pipes will not require any re-programming by the dealer. It takes care of everything, or, you can plug it into your computer and customize any and all settings, including idle speed. Also has complete Custom Dynamics LED conversion including all turn signals and brake lights. Brake light is LED with run-turn-brake conversion and module that has a programmable strobe & flash patterns for high visibility when stopping. Upgraded HD speedometer with tachometer, gear indicator, and customizable multi-color led back lighting. Harley-Davidson Reports Q1 2013 Results
Thu, 25 Apr 2013Harley-Davidson reported 15.9% increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
