Lots of Chrome added (tastefully), Passenger seat backrest (removable), passenger running boards vs. the foot pegs. day pack on back rest, handle bars chromed out with new grips and brake and clutch levers, smoked removable windshield, highway engine guard with foot rests. Bike is fuel injected and has Screaming Eagle staggered pipes and new air intake. Bike was remapped when all this was added at the dealer before I took it home. New battery 3 weeks ago. This bike has been kept under a cover and is VERY Clean. It only has 3,000 mis on it . Ive changed the oil twice since buying it and it has synthetic oil in it. Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India
Fri, 18 May 2012India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
