Harley-Davidson Softail description

For Sale by Fixed Price OR Best Offer is my 1996 Harley Davidson FDL Low Rider with only 13,000 miles. I took close ups of fenders, gas tank etc. See pics for close ups and enlarged photos for best view. This bike has been well maintained and has never been dropped or laid down. Very original.

I bought this as part of a larger bundle deal but my wife says "NO!" to riding it. A few years back, my blood sugar was astronomically high one day and I blacked out while riding another motorcycle so she said that was the end of my riding days. But she never said I couldn't buy one!!! By the way, please check out my other items for sale as there is also a 1999 HD Fat Boy with Flaming Skulls paint with only 43K miles also listed for sale (see last two pics.)

The bike runs great and I have taken it around the block a few times (after checking my blood sugar...seriously!) and it is one cool bike. Sounds great with the drag pipes but not obnoxious. Shifts smooth. Easy to ride and maneuver. Would be a great second bike or a great entry level bike.

If you have any questions, please email me and I will add all questions and responses to the listing. If you would like to have a friend come and look at the bike, that is fine, but no joy rides. If you'd like to call me for a FaceTime walk around, my number is 270 872 7507. I am on Eastern Time and I live about 45 minutes south of Louisville, KY.  If you need a close up of any particular area of the bike, just let me know.  And by all means, take advantage of the Best Offer option if the fixed price does not suit you.

Just in time for Sturgis!!

THE LAST TWO PICS ARE OF THE FAT BOY I ALSO HAVE FOR SALE. THANKS!

What It's Like To Ride A Harley Superbike Credit: Photos by Brian J. Nelson and Kevin Wing Kyle Wyman knows a thing or two about superbikes. Having ridden quite a few over the years as a MotoAmerica rider, and having built some himself as a MotoAmerica team owner – including the Ducati Panigale V4R he campaigned most recently – the 2021 MotoAmerica King of the Baggers champion didn’t mince his words when describing the synergy between himself, Harley-Davidson, and the Road Glide he took all the way to the title.

Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
