This is an amazing machine! Words can not describe this bike! I will do my best. It is undoubtably one of the baddest bikes on the planet! It has a 120 engine,with a performance tuner, screaming eagle. It is the fastest bike I have ever sat on! Gorgeous blue flames over black with black stripes. Chrome, chrome, chrome. LED lights throughout the engine, they look sick at night! It has a 280 rear tire and a 300 will fit on the rear rim. I chose a 280 as the bike handles beautifully! The tires have 1500 mi on them roughly, and are just over a year old. I had a custom job on the saddle bags. they have metal support built in to keep the bags from touching the rear fender even when packed. The rear seat is easily removed and it has small chrome inserts to cover the gaps from the latches. This bike was originally purchased for nearly 60K!!! It has just over 3000 mi at this point. Fri, 08 Jan 2010Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today. As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule
Fri, 09 Nov 2012AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.
