Harley Davidson Hummer And Ranger on 2040-motos
Harley-Davidson Other tech info

Harley-Davidson Other description
Up for sale is one 80% restored HD Hummer and a Ranger parts bike. What you see is what you get, but if you know these bikes and how hard they are to get ahold of you'll jump right on em. A new, 175cc engine, was introduced in 1962. 3 models were offered in 1962...The Harley Ranger (165cc left-overs), Harley Pacer (175cc), and Harley Scat (175cc). 1962 also marked the end of the hard-tail frame, as big changes were in store!
A totally new frame was introduced in 1963. H.D. called it the "Glide-Ride" . This new style frame utilized a dual, spring dampening, rear suspension. This was a welcomed change, however sales continued to lag. The Ranger was dropped from the 1963 line-up, leaving only the Harley Pacer and Harley Scat , both of which remained relatively unchanged, for 1964 and 1965
These would make great restore projects for shows, rallies or just putting around on something that no one else has. So take a look, ask questions, and good luck.......!

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight and Roller Derby? [Video]
Thu, 10 Jun 2010Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
