Original, Barn Fresh, Harley Sidecar. This side car was attached to a 1950 Harley-Davidson Panhead, that is listed on another auction. This side hack should fit any big twin Flathead, Knucklehead etc. but please be sure it will fit your application before bidding. It is in as found condition, sitting for almost 40 years, (the last time the bike was on the road was 1975). There is dirt and crud on it from sitting all those years, I did not wash or clean the sidecar. There are no numbers on the frame to indicate an exact year but I was told the frame and mounts are earlier than 1950, the bike and hack were together many many years. The tub is solid, the interior is old and dirty but mostly useable as is, it has the windshield and cover as pictured. I have the matching 1950 FL Panhead Motorcycle listed on a seperate auction. Ask questions you have prior to bidding. Sold as is. This auction is for the Sidecar only, the motorcycle is sold seperately in another auction.

Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain
Mon, 15 Nov 2010THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.

Fri, 15 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.
