Harley-Davidson Other description

1978 Shovelhead engine in frame titled as an 1981 Harley. Bike is registered and titled in MA under an MA blue VIN. Bike is currently registered and titled to me and title is clear.

Motor has approx 2500 miles on the recent top end. barnett clutch, Karata 1.5" belt drive kick-only, nice chrome nacelle, early style pogo seat, 16" ape hangers, new clutch and throttle cable. Tank and fender are newly powder coated in 'misty midnight' powder. Bike runs great, just need someone to spend some time fine tuning and a little TLC to perfect. Needs speedo cable as well. I would love to keep it but other responsibilities forces sale.

Any questions please ask..

Michael Jackson in Speed Demon [video]

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Michael Jackson was not known for riding motorcycles, he did own a 2001 Harley-Davidson that was on the action block earlier this year that was listed for $6,000 – $8,000, I never heard if it was sold or not.  We all have our different opinions about the mega pop star but we can all agree that he was larger than life and truly a boy in a mans body, case in point, take a look at the “Speed Demon” video that features Jackson on a bicycle, motorcycle and scooter, sort of… The “Speed Demon” video is available after the jump. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
