Enhanced by Project RUSHMORE, the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic Trike offers an authentic three-wheel touring alternative, built from the frame up to provide maximum comfort and handling that is truly Harley-Davidson. New features include the Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103, designed to maintain performance and power in a broad range of conditions. A new linked braking system applies front and rear brakes together when the foot brake control is applied, and a new Tri Glide Ultra parking brake system is activated by a foot pedal on the rider's left side. The new Batwing fairing features a Splitstream vent to reduce head buffeting.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. 2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
