As part of Project RUSHMORE for 2014, the CVO Road King has been redesigned from the ground up for more comfort, more power, better braking and handling and more classic style. The H-D CVO Road King motorcycle features the new Reflex Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with dynamically, electronically linked brakes for optimum braking in all conditions. The FLHRSE Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities. The new High-Output Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, more low end torque, more passing power, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed Cruise Drive transmission. Chrome touring mufflers are a beautiful set of pipes that look great, sound impressive and keep rider and passenger safe from exhaust heat. The two-piece low profile saddle is available in solo or two-rider configurations, in leather styling that makes a unique custom statement.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson reported a 15.5% increase in motorcycle sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013 compared to the same quarter last year. The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA. Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
