Harley-Davidson Other description

2014 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King, WITH WHEEL OPTION - Timeless cruiser styling combined with all the features you need for the long haul. The Road King motorcycle truly is the king of the road. The 2014 Harley-Davidson Road King model FLHR is powered to perfection with the performance you need for Harley touring. As part of Project RushMore, for 2014 the Touring Road King model has been redesigned from the ground up to make the ride better than its ever been. The Harley Road King features a powerful new air-cooled high output Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. There are also all-new gauges and redesigned saddlebags that open easily with one hand. The H-D Road King model FLHR has a classic Hiawatha headlamp that is a defining feature of this bike. Big and commanding, the Harley Road King model’s headlamp hearkens back to the Big Twins of the 60s. You get nothing less than the latest in materials and technology. Dual halogen headlamps and fog lamps light up your Harley touring experience more powerfully than ever before. The bright, striking headlamp blasts daytime-type light further into the night. The 2014 Road King motorcycle features the new Reflex Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with dynamically, electronically linked brakes for optimum braking regardless of road conditions. Harley has many other touring motorcycles to take a look at including ones with motorcycle luggage capacity and a unique frame mounted Harley fairing. Take time to discover more motorcycle touring bikes such as the Harley Street Glide.

Cool Cycles Ice Cream

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.

A Seattle Seahawks-Themed Motorcycle. Why? Because Football. And Charity.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013

With the return of football season upon us (that’s American football for our international readers), we thought it best to feature, what else, but a motorcycle. In this particular case, it’s a Seattle Seahawks-themed custom based on a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road King, the same year the Hawks made it to the Super Bowl. The man behind the custom, award-winning bike builder and Seattle resident, Keith Wong, was approached by Patrick ‘PT’ Town, the founder and executive director of Union Ride & Charity Rally - a charity event to raise money for several non-profits including Northwest Harvest, A.N.E.W., Helmets to Hardhats and the Awareness, Education and Prevention of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Youth Football.
