Harley-Davidson Other description

2013 Harley-Davidson XL1200V - Sportster Seventy-Two, 2013 Harley-Davidson '72. This bike recalls classic bobbers and the styling of '70s choppers. The 2013 Seventy-Two Sportster boasts custom style that's full of authentic '70s chopper attitude meets modern power and premium H-D styling in this bare-bones, lowrider-inspired radical custom. The Harley Seventy-Two harks back to the hey-day of the chopper. Resurrected is the famous Harley peanut tank which The Motor Company originally debuted in 1948.Lean and clean, the Harley Seventy-Two rolls on spoked down whitewalls, 21-inches on the back and a svelte 150mm wide on the rear. Ten-inch tall mini-apes on two-inch risers thumb their nose the best they can at conformity considering its a factory chopper as the styling elements of the 72 combine to inject a vintage feel to the vibey V-Twin.We offer easy financing through Harley-Davidson Financial and they accepts a wide range of credit. Exceptional offers for well qualified buyers. We can make this yours!Contact Rico @ 619-ECH-D151 (324-3151) to get on theThe Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two motorcycle is a metal flake dream machine, a Sportster on a trip back to the days when the cool kids rode a Sting-Ray and the big boys parked choppers in a row on the curb. Those motorcycles were long and lean candy-apple color and gleaming chrome shimmering in hazy summer sunlight. From its Hard Candy Big Red Flake paint and ape bars to its narrow whitewall tires, the Seventy-Two is a respectful nod to that era, and to the influence of the custom culture that still percolates today along Whittier Boulevard, the legendary cruising street in East Los Angeles also known as Route 72.

The 6.2-litre V8 features 22-inch forged wheels, lowered suspension over the standard model and a decent smattering of Harley-Davidson logos. "The new 2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 perfectly blends the flexibility and capability of F-Series trucks with the free spirit of Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said Eric Kuehn, chief engineer.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
