The 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Custom FXDC model is a bike with the power you need and all the Harley chrome you want. The Super Glide Custom motorcycle holds true to its name with unique, custom styling features from tire to tire. For 2013, the Dyna FXDC model comes in a limited, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements and premium features that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of living art, with finely forged finishes that age and transform in a manner unique to each vehicle. The tank-mounted gauges engulfed in chrome, authentic leather fuel tank panel, unique battery box cover, solid stainless steel pullback handlebar, and fuel tank medallion that oozes iconic H-D attitude all make this bike one-of-a-kind. Powering this Harley Dyna bike is a black and chrome Twin Cam engine. For a custom look the engine has chrome rocker covers, highlighted fins on the cylinders, and powder coated cylinder heads. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
Perry King To Be Grand Marshal At Second Annual The Greatest Escape Motorcycle Ride Benefit

The Greatest Escape is scheduled for Sunday, August 3, 2014 and will begin with a beautiful ride from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, 4141 Lincoln Blvd., Marina Del Rey, CA along the Pacific Coast Highway with stunning views of the ocean to the rustic and historic Paramount Ranch, Cornell Road, Agoura Hills, CA. Join Perry King for what will be a wonderful day ending with a concert and BBQ lunch on the ranch. The Greatest Escape, 2014 will include a BBQ lunch by J Wolf BBQ and a concert by The Walking Phoenixes, a Johnny Cash tribute band. The Greatest Escape, 2014, will benefit victims of Mesothelioma and the Pacific Meso Center, in Los Angeles, CA.
