You can go with the standard steel-laced wheels on blackwalls with a chrome hub. Or turn the clock all the way back with the optional chrome laces and wide whitewalls. For the ultimate touch of style, the 110th Anniversary Edition teams the whitewalls with Smooth wheels, cast of premium aluminum and polished to a shimmering, glass smooth finish. Anti-Lock Brakes (Optional*) When it comes to the Heritage Softail Classic model with optional ABS, "stopping power" has a double meaning. The components of our ABS are tastefully hidden within the wheel hub, so you'll still turn heads with clean, streamlined design. More importantly, though, you get certainty in the saddle knowing your bike's going to behave when you need it. *Note: this feature is offered as part of the "Security Package" (which includes the H-D Smart Security System). Both of these features are standard on the 110th Anniversary Edition of this bike. Dunlop Tires Whether you're crossing state lines or staying within city limits, you want a confident feeling of sure contact with the road. The front end holds a premium touring tire with a three-ply polyester casing and two fiberglass belts. The back cruiser tire has an advanced tread pattern. In fact, events are already happening worldwide, and starting soon in places like Goa, India and Auckland, New Zealand. In March, the party comes ashore in Florida at Harley’s Daytona Bike Week festivities and the whole shebang culminates in Milwaukee on August 29-31 with a massive blowout that includes a concert, the World’s Largest Bike Night at the H-D Museum, and more.
EICMA 2013: Harley-Davidson Revolution X 750 & 500
Mon, 04 Nov 2013The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
“The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday
Mon, 18 Aug 2014The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
