Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage

A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.

Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle

An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
