For 2013, the CVO Road King model comes in an even more limited availability, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements, premium features and finely forged finishes that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of motorcycle art. The FLHRSE5 Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities, and custom-style Agitator wheels that add to its bold boulevard style. The Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, and lots of low end torque, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed cruise drive transmission. Chrome touring mufflers are a beautiful set of pipes that look great, sound impressive and keep rider and passenger safe from exhaust heat. Harley-Davidson Launches The Harley-Davidson Riding Academy
Thu, 24 Apr 2014Harley-Davidson‘s rider training program has revamped itself and even changed its name. Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
