Harley-Davidson Other description

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout , I am offering up my hard to find 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout (FXSB103) in Big Blue Pearl. This is the new model just introduced in March of this year. The bike has the powerful Twin Cam 103B (103 cubic inch counterbalanced) Air-cooled motor. This bike doesn't shake and vibrate like non-counterbalanced Harley-Davidsons. This is a fantastic, better than showroom condition bike that only has 2,400 Adult ridden miles. I do ride the bike occasionally, so the mileage will increase. This bike was broken in by the book. This beautiful bike features the following extras: * 5-year, unlimited mileage extended warranty (coverage thru 5/13/2018) * Smart Security System w/ 2 fobs * Smart Siren II Security System * 2013 Harley-Davidson Owners Manual Softail Models 99469-13A * 2013 Harley-Davidson Service Manual Softail Models 99482-13A * 2013 Harley-Davidson Electrical Diagnostic Manual Softail Models 99498-13A * Fuel Moto Billet Stage 1 Air Cleaner featuring a silver backing plate and black breather * Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-INTO-2 exhaust * Dynojet Power Vision ECM Flash Tuner and real time data display monitor (w Auto Tune Basic) * Harley-Davidson Oil Level and Temperature Dipstick w/ Lighted LCD Readout * Harley-Davidson Daymaker LED Headlamp * note: this bike does NOT have ABS I have all original parts as well. This bike has always been garaged and meticulously maintained. When not ridden, the bike remains on the J&S Jacks Lift (lift not included in the sale of the bike). This is an awesome bike for anyone who is looking for a power cruiser with forward controls and a relaxed riding position. This bike is very quick, has plenty of power, and monstrous acceleration. I average about 43-46 mpg (your mileage may vary). I am selling the bike because I come from 25+ years of riding sport bikes, and despite my best efforts, cannot get used to the forward control ridding position of a cruiser. I have over $23,000 invested in this bike. Buying used from me, not only are you getting a fantastic deal, you can avoid all the hidden fees associated with a dealer purchase. Happy to answer any questions. Bike is also being listed locally. * J&S Jacks Lift not included in sale $18,500.00 636-544-4852

Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit

Tue, 06 Mar 2012

The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
