2012 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC, This bike is brand new, all stock. Ready for you to add some flare! These big-twin motorcycles capitalize on Harley's strongvalue on tradition. With the rear-wheel suspension hidden under the transmission,they are visually similar to the 'hardtail' choppers popular in the1960s and 1970s, as well as from their own earlier history. In keeping withthat tradition, Harley offers Softail models with 'Springer' frontends and 'Heritage' styling that incorporate design cues fromthroughout their history. The Softail models do not have rubber-mounted engines. Thisled to more vibration in Evolution-engined Softails than in rubber-mountedTouring or Dyna models with Evolution engines. To compensate for this, currentSoftail models use a counterbalanced version of the Twin Cam engine instead ofthe regular Twin Cam engine used in the Touring and Dyna models. US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.

Thu, 06 Feb 2014Bonhams auction house in Paris has announced the unexpected results of the auction held today which included a 2013 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide and a leather jacket owned by none other than the Pope. The results were simply astounding. The Pope’s Harley sold for $328,527 to a private European buyer.
