Harley-Davidson Other description

2012 Harley-Davidson FLSTFB Softail Fat Boy Lo, 2012 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Lo FLSTFB - The 2012 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Lo FLSTFB has all the features you expect on custom Harley motorcycles. Hearkening to the 'hardtail' choppers of the '60s and '70s, the Fat Boy Lo is one of the custom Harley motorcycles that keeps that heritage alive more than forty years later. And this special edition shows a darker side of the original 'fat custom' bike—laid-back and blacked-out with an unmistakable profile on the road. New for 2012, the Harley Fat Boy Lo features a powerful, new larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. Take a minute and learn about all the features of the Fat Boy Lo and learn more about other custom Harley motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
