Harley-Davidson Other description
2012 Harley-Davidson FLSTFB - Softail Fat Boy Lo, 2012 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy Lo
Hearkening to the "hardtail" choppers of the '60s and '70s, the Fat Boy Lo model keeps that heritage alive more than forty years later. And this special edition shows a darker side of the original "fat custom" bike laid-back and blacked-out with an unmistakable profile on the road. But the nostalgic style isn't just about the confident stance, paint and old-school detail. It's how you look riding it. It's how it feels. It's the classic, relaxed riding position that speaks volumes. You're not just cruising. You're in charge kicked back on a throne of machined metal surveying your domain.
This show worthy Fat Boy Lo has been customized with:
* Detachable color matched front fairing with windshield
* Daymaker LED headlight
* Black front end with contrast cut cowbells
* Contrast cut front brake and clutch levers
* Custom handlebars
* Custom grips
* Custom floorboards
* Custom rear brake pedal
* Custom shift peg
* Custom gas gauge
* Vance and Hines pipes
* Custom air cleaner
* Danny Gray solo seat

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India
Fri, 18 May 2012India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
