2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic FLHTC, This 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic has only 6,859 miles on it. It has stock running gear but does have a few upgrades to make it a better coast to coast Touring Harley. Cruise Control is an option for the 2011 FLHTC model and this bike has it. My favorite option is A.B.S. This has been legislated to be mandatory standard equipment in Europe in 2015 or 2016 and is an important safety feature on any Touring motorcycle. A fob operated Security System has also been installed by the factory. Another almost necessity in today's society. Smooth Rim wire wheels are another factory option that was checked off before it hit the showroom floor. As I said, this is a nicely equipped Electra Glide Classic. Add on a chromed luggage rack, Harley-Davidson hand grips, shifter pegs and brake pedal and the bike is complete. Take a test ride on this Harley. Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video

In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

Mon, 07 Dec 2009In late November two motorcycle daredevils from opposite sides of the world were fighting to see who would be the first to backflip a Harley Davidson XR1200 motorcycle. Australia’s Kain Saul reached the Promised Land first when he made a successful jump in Sydney on November 27. Harley-Davidson believes Saul’s jump is the first ever successful backflip for any full size street motorcycle.

Tue, 28 May 2013In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
