2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic FLHTC, This 2011 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic has only 6,859 miles on it. It has stock running gear but does have a few upgrades to make it a better coast to coast Touring Harley. Cruise Control is an option for the 2011 FLHTC model and this bike has it. My favorite option is A.B.S. This has been legislated to be mandatory standard equipment in Europe in 2015 or 2016 and is an important safety feature on any Touring motorcycle. A fob operated Security System has also been installed by the factory. Another almost necessity in today's society. Smooth Rim wire wheels are another factory option that was checked off before it hit the showroom floor. As I said, this is a nicely equipped Electra Glide Classic. Add on a chromed luggage rack, Harley-Davidson hand grips, shifter pegs and brake pedal and the bike is complete. Take a test ride on this Harley. Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
