This is a stock FLHX but it does have optional Cruise Control; which I almost consider mandatory on today's Touring Motorcycles. It was painted Vivid Black as all good Harleys should be (my wife disagrees). This FLHX has the newest frame configuration. A 96 C.I. V-twin/six gear Cruise Drive transmission provides the go. Brembo Brakes provide the Stop. Rubber motor mounts, a touring saddle, rear air adjustable shocks and a great big Bat Wing Fairing provide the comfort. A Harman/Kardon audio system provides the entertainment. Harley Davidson provides the reliability. All you have to do is put in some gas and provide its destination. New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.
More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges
Mon, 17 Oct 2022Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
