It is covered by Harley's extended warranty through the year 2015 and has been maintained by Harley shops at every scheduled maintenance interval with all maintenance records to prove it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike other than a couple of very minor scratches. It has thousands of dollars worth of upgrades, including HID Headlight and Spots, wired for heated clothing, highway pegs, custom engine covers, heated grips, XM satellite radio, anti-theft alarm including remote pager, tourpac & saddlebag liners, Harley audio headset, etc. New piston rings were installed recently and the bike was given a major Harley service as well as brakes and tires. This couple, aboard what sounds like a Harley-Davidson (that potato-potato exhaust note is unmistakeable), were riding along in Missoula, Montana when this elk decided he wanted to take the road for himself. As traffic slowed and eventually passed, the elk took a growing interest in the couple on the motorcycle, approaching them.
Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.
