2009 Harley-Davidson Road King FLHR, This 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King is one of the few "Fire Fighters Limited Edition" models that Harley produces each year to celebrate the efforts of our Fire Fighting community. It is distinguished by special badges on its fuel tank. The soul of this bike is pure Road King. It came from the Harley-Davidson factory with Smooth Rim Wire Wheels; a good looking upgrade. Electronic Cruise Control is another feature on the bike and after you've tried it you'll be asking, 'How did I ever get along with out this?' Anti-lock brakes are also included. Its drive train is just the way it came from the factory, but some nice chrome bits and pieces like a set of highway pegs. Road Kings are sought after Harleys because they look great and make an outstanding cruising, or touring bike. Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership
Wed, 20 Feb 2013Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
