Actor and Avid Rider, Lorenzo Lamas, to Lead Charity Ride for Abused Children

Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

A (Not So) Silent Night from Harley-Davidson – Video

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.
