2009 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob DYNA, 2009 Harley FXDF Fatbob- Very well maintained motorcycle, 1 owner with many extras. Performance upgrades include; Professionally Ported & Polished heads and SE 211 camshaft installed. All synthetic fluids used, V&H Shortshot exhaust, Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air kit, Power Commander 3, professionally Tuned on actual Dyno machine (100+ HP/Torque) performance spark plug wires/plugs, Michelin Commander 2 tires (less than 1,000 miles on them and balanced with dyna beads) and heavy duty stiff riser bushings for better handling Factory HD security system. Aftermarket "looks" upgrades include; professionally polished factory rims and rotors, tri-bar LED tail light, LED flush mount fuel gauge/cap, smoked out turn signals, removable sissy bar, custom matching grips/foot pegs/brake pedal/shifter, custom mirrors, levers, horn cover, battery cover,voltage cover, wrinkle black upper rocker box covers and Chrome lower rocker box covers (I get many compliments on it because it gives the engine a very custom, aggressive look that sets it apart from other engines and is expensive to have installed) hidden push button start under battery box, finned derby cover, finned spark plug engine covers, chrome belt guard and axel bolt covers. All work has been professionally done. This bike is very fast, pulls hard and sounds great. It doesn't leak ANY fluids, has no engine issues, never been wrecked or layed down. There is a small scratch on left side of tank and scratch on underside of chrome exhaust cover (cannot be seen unless parked and your looking for it.) 46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]
Wed, 14 Jul 2010The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family. Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners. Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
