Harley-Davidson Other description

2009 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob , Looking with heavy heart to sell my 2009 Harley Fat Bob. She's in great shape and has only 6804 mi. Mostly been sitting in my garage for last couple of years due to new child. Most miles are highway miles as my wife and I enjoyed taking long cruises through hill country. I will include with purchase the official Harley Davidson detachable windshield and wide back sissy bar with luggage rack. Can put them on for comfortable road trips, or take them off for sportier town cruises. It also has cycle shack slip ons which gives the motor a nice deep but not terribly overpowering rumble. Motor is 96 ci with 6 speed transmission. Will be sturdy on price. $11,500.00 3612150983

Harley-Davidson and an American Hero

Fri, 07 Dec 2012

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
