2009 Harley-Davidson 1200 Low - XL1200L, Offering a preferred blend of performance, agility and ergonomics, the Sportster 1200 Low adds a recalibrated suspension and tire-hugging front fender for 2009. Powered by a fuel-injected 1200cc Evolution V-Twin engine, the 1200 Low also features a pull-back handlebar, a low 26.3-inch seat height, and a 4.5-gallon fuel tank. Black 13-spoke Cast Aluminum wheels are not available on any other Sportster model sold in North America. The evolution of the Harley-Davidson hot rod continues for 2009, as most Sportster models roll into the new year on retuned suspension. Five Sportster models retain the raw, soulful styling that represents the uninhibited essence of motorcycling. Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
