2008 Harley-Davidson XL 1200N Sportster 1200 Nightster, APE BARS DONE RIGHT - THE SPORTSTER HAS SEEN A LOT OF REFINEMENT OVER THE YEARS, BUT ONE LOOK AT THE NEW MEMBER OF THE FAMILY TELLS YOU THE KNUCKLES ARE STILL BARE. The dark recesses of the Sportster soul are still intact. Check out the old school fork gaiters. The drilled metal pieces. The rear fender is chopped and clean, thanks to new stop-turn tail lights and a side-mount license plate. A low suspension puts the seat at just over 25 inches, hard as the muscle behind it, the Nightster gets the 1,200-cubic-centimeters Evolution V-Twin engine. Rubber-mounted in the narrow, nimble Sportster frame and finished with shades of dark. In other words, it’ll put the edge back on a blade.

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
