2008 Harley-Davidson Street Bob, This 2008 Harley Fat Bob features the sweet blacked out 96' motor and a six speed transmission. The brushed aluminum and black really looks nice. It has been debadged for a slick look. It also has a clip on windshield and a leather fork bag. The front pegs and pedals have been upgraded as well. This sweet Street Bob also has a chrome voltage regulator cover. The handgrips are upgraded with leather wraps making them very comfortable. It also features smoked turn signal lenses and a smoked led taillight to complete the blacked out look. This bike has the perfect balance of black and chrome. Please view the video for detailed description. Other than normal wear, it has a small hairline scratch on the rear fender. It also has some minor paint flaking on the battery box. CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises
Fri, 16 Aug 2013The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
Motus Hires Former H-D Test Rider + Video
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Bruce Edmiston was a Harley-Davidson test rider for over 20 years. In that time, he estimates he’s racked up well north of 500,000 miles on a wide variety of motorcycles from many different parts of the world. He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.
