2008 Harley-Davidson Road King CVO, This Limited Edition Screamin' Eagle Road King has Extremely Low Original Miles, 3151. The largest-displacement Harley-Davidson production engine, the 110-cubic inch (1800cc) Twin Cam 110, a high-performance V-Twin engine delivering 115 ft. lbs. of torque at 3000 rpm. For 2008, the Twin Cam 110 has a new Granite finish. Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) is standard, along with a custom oil cooler with chrome cover, and chrome cross-over dual exhaust with four-inch touring mufflers. The engine is mated to the 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission for lower cruising rpm in top gear. As with all the CVO Harley Davidson models this Road King is covered in Chrome, from the complete chrome front end , switches, switch housings, levers, pedals, pegs, master cylinders, mirrors to the 18 chrome front wheel and 17 chrome rear wheel. The Factory paint on this Limited Edition CVO is Twilight metallic / Cobalt Blue metallic with Ghost Flames. This paint combination must be seen to be believed ! Fri, 04 Oct 2013On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.

Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
