2008 Harley-Davidson NIGHTROD SE, If you're looking for a Nightrod this one has to be considered. This Nightrod SE is in very good condition with no signs of a drop or crash. The previous owner had some fun with it as evidenced from the scrapes on the lower part of the mufflers! The paint is in nice condition and the fork mounted turn indicators and solo mirror gives this machine a sinister and clean look. In addition there is a passenger backrest, HD tank bra and soft luggage. There are no signs of abuse or neglect and this is a very nice looking bike in super nice shape. There are also a few service records to show the bike has been cared for by a franchised HD retailer. After taking it in on trade we completed a safety inspection and addressed a faulty rear brake switch and replaced it with an OEM switch and bled the rear circuits. 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Champion Chris Fillmore
Tue, 06 Sep 2011Chris Fillmore of Oxford, Mich., has won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Championship. Fillmore ended the season on a victorious note, winning the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The Bruce Rossmeyer/Geico racer finished the season with five wins and eight podium appearances in nine races in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 spec racing series.

Rare Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and Memorabilia Up for Auction

The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
