Saddle up on the new Fat Bob and watch the world quickly take its place over the flat internally-wired handlebar on black risers. Stand alongside and your eyes go right to the tommy-gun exhaust shield on the custom pipes. Like every bike in the family, the design centers on the power and glory of a vibration-isolated Twin Cam 96 engine. It’s finished in black, with polished covers. The air cleaner cover is new, unique to the Dyna family. Choose from mid-mount or forward controls. Even the rubber takes its own path. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.

The results were simply astounding. The Pope’s Harley sold for $328,527 to a private European buyer.
