2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTN Softail Deluxe, SUPER TRICKED OUT - WE BELIEVE NOSTALGIA DOESN’T ALWAYS HAVE TO FEEL THAT WAY. So we built the Softail Deluxe to take style in a whole different direction. The wide whitewall tires and full skirted fenders put the class in classic. Same with the Tombstone tail light. The tank is topped with a big retro speedometer. The six-speed Cruise Drive transmission and 96-cubic-inch chrome and black, fuel-injected V-Twin provide the modern twist. The seat comes adorned with a classic chrome grab rail and luggage rack, and sits just 24.5 inches off the ground to make for a low and comfortable ride. You only live once. Live it Deluxe.

Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. With a dry weight of 355kg, the bike is powered by a 1750cc Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-twin engine delivering 150Nm at 3250rpm. Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
