Choose the Anniversary Ultra Classic and ABS comes standard. The Touring ride is smoother than ever for 2008, thanks to a new rear Isolated Drive System (IDS). It improves ride quality by reducing drive line noise. Ultra Classic riders get even more comfort with a full fairing and vented lowers, plus new fairing-mounted adjustable wind deflectors. There is a King Tour Pak and GTX-nylon saddlebags. Cruise control. Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System and CB/Intercom. The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.

At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
