Harley-Davidson Street 750 Featured in New Captain America Film
Wed, 13 Nov 2013The new Harley-Davidson Street 750 was only just revealed last week at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, but many of you may have already seen the new motorcycle even earlier and not have realized it. Harley-Davidson announced the new Street 750 will appear in Marvel Comics’ movie “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” set to hit theaters April 4, 2014. Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
