Harley-Davidson Other description

2007 Harley-Davidson XL 883 Sportster, Just In!!! Must See!!! - JUST ENOUGH STYLE TO LET ALL THE MUSCLE SHINE THROUGH. Like an old-time outlaw that’s been taught manners, today’s 883 is a refined and finely evolved riding machine. But give the throttle a twist and it doesn’t take long to bring out its move-it-or-lose-it spirit. You’re hooking up with the basic, no-nonsense combination that’s been tattooing grins on riders’ faces for five decades. A narrow and nimble frame. A potent V-twin engine generating loads of tar-singeing torque. Just enough style to let all the muscle shine through, with the classic-style tank and shorty duals. We top it all off with the one part that still surprises many people: an affordable price tag dangling from the polished-steel handlebar.

Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
