2007 Harley-Davidson FLSTF - Softail Fat Boy, ASK THOMAS FOR DETAILS2007 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy Only the name is the same on the revised to the FLSTF Fat Boy, which grows bigger, broader and brighter for 2007. Besides more power, 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission and standard Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), the Fat Boy gets funkier and flashier with a major upgrade to its already muscular profile. Start at the back with a new 200mm rear tire and extra chopped rear fender. A new two-tone and two-up seat with laced triple bullet tank strap sits behind a traditional Fat Bob fuel tank with new customized graphics matching those on the fenders and laced triple bullet detailed tank strap. The Fat Boy cuts a wide path with a new 17-inch front wheel, chrome front fork nacelle and giant bare knuckle risers and a fat custom internally-wired handlebar. New Silver, Bullet Hole Disc Cast Aluminum wheels complete the new Fat Boy look. It's big, bad and fatter than ever. 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed
Thu, 02 Feb 2012As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim. AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
