2007 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King, nice looking runs great - PACKED TO THE HILT WITH GOODS THAT INSPIRE ENDLESS HIGHWAYS. The first Harley motorcycle used a bicycle frame, had one cylinder and did the work of three horses. Times sure have changed. Nothing makes the road more proud. A giant chrome headlamp and nacelle. Detachable windscreen. Hard touring bags. Ample FL-style front end straddling a big-skirted fender. The Road King is packed to the hilt with goods that inspire endless highways. But its not just there for show. The 96 cubic inches of Twin Cam beneath all the shining chrome is just the thing to take you down that road. Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
2014 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed four models in its limited-production 2014 Custom Vehicle Operations. The CVO Breakout introduced last year is back for 2014, and this time it is joined by the all-new CVO Softail Deluxe (pictured above) and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited touring models which also received elements of Harley-Davidson’s new Project Rushmore initiative. All four CVO models get exclusive components and paint treatments not available on other Harley-Davidson models, as well as a number of accessories from the company’s catalog.
