2007 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King, FLHR - PACKED TO THE HILT WITH GOODS THAT INSPIRE ENDLESS HIGHWAYS. The first Harley motorcycle used a bicycle frame, had one cylinder and did the work of three horses. Times sure have changed. Nothing makes the road more proud. A giant chrome headlamp and nacelle. Detachable windscreen. Hard touring bags. Ample FL-style front end straddling a big-skirted fender. The Road King is packed to the hilt with goods that inspire endless highways. But it's not just there for show. The 96 cubic inches of Twin Cam beneath all the shining chrome is just the thing to take you down that road. Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.
Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East
Tue, 19 Nov 2013A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
